If you disconnected your head before the flash is done then most likely you will end with a bricked unit. RE: VAS5054a not recognized - repair possible? - Marcos - 18-06-2017 I also can't remember, but I think I used the broken one, once on a other notebook with odis 4.0, maybe odis reflashed something ? Is there a possibility to reflash the broken clone head, or do you thing the usb port is broken on the PCB ? I already opened it, but i can't see something broken.

There was a sound and diagnostics with odis were possible. I took my other VAS5054a, took the same cable and put it into my notebooks usb port. Didn't tried the bluetooth connection because i don't have bluetooth on notebook. Also when I put the USB Cable into my notebook, there is no sound that something is connected, also nothing in device manager. Last time I tried to program a car and Odis 3.1.3 didn't find the VAS5054a head. I got a china clone of VAS5054a as a backup solution for my other VAS5054a clone.
